I am a person who never grew out of watching cartoons. Many of my folks always tell me to stop watching them because they are for children, and I am an adult now. Animation is something that can be enjoyed by everyone not just children.

I remember when I decided that I wanted to be part of the animation industry. I was at a low point in my life where I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life then as I was strolling through YouTube I came across this intriguing video. The video was title “Behind the Scenes of ‘The Lion King’ The animator speaks”, and once I saw the pencil test of The Lion King scenes I fell in love. It was as if a whole new world was open to me. I want to be that kind of person who makes another person feel something special through my artwork. As animator Bruce Smith said, “If you can take a series of drawings and move someone to laugh or cry. It’s the ultimate illusion.” One day my drawings will also to able to move somebody.
